1. Always start with a clean bowl for your pet.
2. Fill the bowl with food. Place your Bugless Bowl in the desired feeding location. The ANTISKID feet will keep the bowl in place.
3. We recommend that you use a pull top bottle or sippy cup to fill the moat with WATER once it is in place.
4. Fill with WATER only until the moat is full.
5. Top off with WATER each day. If the bowl is outdoors, you may need to top it off more frequently due to evaporation.
6. Be sure to keep the bowl and moat clean at all times. Any debris will allow the ants to "float" over to the food.
